Players

You've all most likely noticed, the lack of players, and it's happened almost ever since enneract's Wraith and 4 stages update.

I've been having a discussion with ams, and we decided it'd be good to write a thread on the forum asking where everyone is, if there's a specific reason relating to the game which may hint as to why people aren't playing, and furthermore how we can fix this (improve the game).

So I'm turning to our players. What are your thoughts? Is it just summer break and people don't want to play computer games, or are we doing something terribly wrong with the mod?

I believe people do still play,of course some grow up and get tired of playing the same video games over and over,but i do think that this is what i already had said before...the new changes fucked up the server and people just left.
How do i know this,i checked that NS server like yesterday,and i saw half of our player base there.

I would still play every day but as bluefire said, no point in joining an empty server. Sometimes i join and wait like half an hour but no one comes lel. And swiz, one does not simply get bored of Trem, i have been playing trem for almost 8 years and still not bored (Says the guy with a shitty computer that can only run Tremulous x( ).

1. Most of ppl playing just ended school  aka. vacations.
2. Last updates were a bit confusing, even for experienced players.
3. Revert, give it a bit of time, then we'll know.

Blaming it on "recent changes" is a bit premature.

A bit of  personal opinion: last 2 years (since Rcz died, then YE, then NE) we had small but stable playerbase. 9/10 of of the "stable playerbase" will return mostly because we like playing with eachother. Consider players (mindset) like "me", "Osama" , "Bluefire (NUB, retard, idiot, loser, lameass, fag )", consider players like BT clan, consider most of ppl who had different opinions about changes all this time, they ALL still stayed and we still were playing.


We had like 40 players TOTAL last 2 years. These 40 players stayed with us no matter what the changes, well, changed. I honestly believe that "recent changes" are hardly the reason the usual players are not playing anymore.

I for one RQ hardcore after getting whored by Bluefire (fag, nub, loser ), but TBH I can hardly imagine NOT playing this game in the future, no matter the changes.
